Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have;

God is pleased by sacrifices of that kind.

--Hebrews 16:16

The primary source of support for our parish and parish facilities is you, our parishioners. Through gifts of time, talent and treasure we are able to sustain the operation of our parish as well as provide for the programs and activities so important to our community. Our challenge is to continue to the work of the past, to attend to the needs of the present and to build for the future.

There are many ways to support Immaculate Conception Parish.

Whatever gifts you give to Immaculate Conception Parish, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Please review the giving opportunities below and, if you have any questions, please email us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

WEEKLY OFFERTORY/TITHING

The weekly offertory is the major source of funding for the parish. Your generosity pays for the operating expenses related to the "company" that is Immaculate Conception Parish. These operating expenses include:

  • Payment of regular monthly bills
  • Heating
  • Electricity
  • Phones
  • Service agreements
  • Supplies, etc
  • Staff Salaries
  • The cost of religious education, over and above enrollment fees
  • Snow removal, landscaping and all regular property maintenance

The most common way to give your offering is through the envelope system. Although a weekly offering helps the parish to better budget for and meet expenses, sometimes weekly does not work within your family budget. If you wish, you can make your offertory donation on a bi-monthly or monthly basis. Those who use the envelope system may request a tax statement from the parish office in January. (Statements are only sent upon request.) If you are not currently using the envelope system, please contact the Parish Office to request to enroll in our envelope system, or you may enroll in our Online Giving program.

CHURCH RESTORATION AND RENOVATION

The Immaculate Conception Church is the center of our Parish Community. Over the past several years, we have made many vital repairs and improvements in our church building and, in January 2008, we began the long needed renovation of the lower church. Please consider donating to the on-going restoration of our church building.

LOWER CHURCH RENOVATION PROJECT: Many people have asked if there would be any opportunities for gifts to enhance the new worship space and whether or not you would be able to memorialize a loved one by donating to the renovation project. The Church Memorial Donation Opportunities Flyer is now available in the back of the church.

UPPER CHURCH RENOVATION AND RESTORATION: The Upper Church is next! As part of the Lower Church renovation, we were able to update the heating system, add the elevator to make the church handicap accessible, create a new gathering space utilizing the stained glass windows from St. Mary's. But, there is still much to be done. Donations/Memorials for Church Renovations should be forwarded to the Parish Office and marked "Church Renovations".

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT FUND

The donations made to our Monthly Maintenance and Development Fund are used to make all non-major repairs to the church, rectory and parish properties. Your on-going generosity to this collection is greatly appreciated!
